Registration is underway for spring break camps operated by the Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services.

The camps, for students in grades 1-6, run March 25-29, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m., at eight locations, including the James Lee Community Center in Falls Church and the Willston Multicultural Center in Seven Corners. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Building a Mystery Adventure.” Campers will be the main character in their own mystery tale.

Fees are set on a sliding scale based on household income and range from $11 to $301.

NCS is also hosting Teens in Action programs during spring break, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m., for youths age 12-18. They will be held at 12 locations, including the Bailey’s Community Center in Bailey’s Crossroads, the James Lee Community Center, and the Willston Multicultural Center.

Teens in Action offers team sports, games, arts and crafts, STEM activities, and cultural field trips. This program is free but some activities require a fee. Financial assistance is available.
