Retro game retailer Super Bit opens in Annandale

Super Bit, a shop specializing in retro video games, game systems, and related toys, opened Dec. 1 at 7887 Heritage Drive, Annandale.

The biggest-sellers are Nintendo 64 games. Super Bit also carries PlayStation, Cube, and Dreamcast games; video game magazines; VHS tapes, stuffed animals, and related items. The shop also buys games from customers and accepts trade-ins.

Super Bit moved from its previous location in the City of Falls Church to the Heritage shopping center next to H-Mart. Its former building, at Broad Street and Washington Street, will be torn down to make way for a mixed-used development with multifamily housing and a Whole Foods.
