The EYA development company plans to open sales this fall on the Townhomes of Graham Park. The new houses will be built on a portion of the Graham Park Plaza shopping center on Arlington Boulevard in the Falls Church area of Mason District.

The new development will have 172 townhomes, with prices starting in the mid-$600,000s, according to the EYA website.

The homes will feature open floorplans, two-car garages, and optional lofts with a rooftop terrace.

The community will have a playground and an outdoor gathering space with plush seating, dramatic lighting, and cozy fire pits. It will be called “the Hangar” in recognition that the site was an airfield in the 1940s.

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors approved the project in October 2020. EYA agreed to provide 22 affordable units priced in the $200,000 range.

Stores remain open while Graham Park Plaza gets a makeover.

Construction of the homes hasn’t started yet, although the stores on the site have been demolished.

Renovation is underway on a section of the shopping center that includes the Celebrity Delly and an ABC store. The upgraded retail strip will have a new façade, outdoor café seating, and murals.
