Section of Wayne Road closed next week
Wayne Road between Route 50 and Regent Lane in the Falls Church area will be closed July 8-11 for the replacement of a drainage pipe.
The road will be closed 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day, weather permitting, VDOT announced.
People needing to reach properties along Wayne Road will have access. Drivers will not be able to go beyond the work site – adjacent to the property at 3034 Wayne Road— in either direction.
Through traffic will be detoured via Wayne Road, the Arlington Boulevard service road, Manor Road, and Westmoreland Road back to Wayne Road.
Pedestrians will have access via the sidewalks but are asked to use caution when moving through the work zone.
