SnoCream reopens inside Garden Social
SnoCream, formerly at The Block, has resurfaced inside Garden Social at the same EastGate Shopping Center on John Marr Drive in Annandale.
SnoCream has taken over the tiny window formerly occupied by Tiger Sugar. L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is also co-located with Garden Social.
The Block, two restaurants, and B-Thrifty closed at the end of August. That section of the EastGate Shopping Center will be demolished to make way for an apartment building.
SnoCream offers frozen desserts featuring ice cream and shaved ice with lots of toppings, along with boba drinks, milk teas, and other items.

Thank goodness some of The Block survived. I hope some of the other businesses find a new location.
Great news!
No milkshakes. Very sad. I really hope they add the milkshakes back. One of their cookie and cream milkshakes is worth it’s weight in gold.
For now… aren’t approved plans for the entire strip to be taken over by housing? Not sure how you build new housing without knocking down the entire connected building.
That’s great. Hope Bold Dumpling reopens in some form somewhere close by too.
