The TD bank at 7209 Little River Turnpike, in the heart of
Annandale, was robbed Oct. 10. According to a bulletin from the Franconia Police District, a man entered the bank around 4:30 p.m. and passed a note to a
31-year-old teller demanding money. The teller was unable to give the suspect
cash so he fled. There were no injuries. An employee who was there at the time
told the Annandale Blog, “everybody is safe.”

The suspect was described as black, in his
40s. He left the area in an older model, box-style Jeep Cherokee. Detectives
believe this same suspect may be responsible for several other bank robberies, including a robbery at a TD bank in Hybla Valley Oct 4.
