These Annandale homes light up the neighborhood

3912 Lincolnshire Street

There are two houses in Annandale tied for the biggest,
brightest Christmas decorations. Both homes attract a steady stream of visitors as
soon as it gets dark.

The home and entire front yard of Tony Ruth’s house at 3912
Lincolnshire Street sparkles with tens of thousands of lights, many of them
flashing to the beat of Christmas music. There is a nativity scene, gingerbread
men, archways, angels, a choir, and much, much more.

6800 Murray Lane

While this display has been a tradition for more than 25
years, Dave Fase’s light show at 6800 Murray Lane is more recent.

The Fase home is a winter wonderland with a giant archway, Christmas
trees, candy canes, snowmen, stars, Santa in a hot air balloon, reindeer, and glowing trees and flowers. There’s even a musical animation hanging from a tree.

This house at 3809 Lincolnshire Street is pretty spectacular, too.

  1. Thank you Tony for your many years of beautifying and bringing the Christmas spirit to Annandale through your awesome synchronized light and sound show. We really appreciate your hard work and dedication. You can’t see this and not be filled with the happy spirit of Christmas. We were singing out loud and dancing last night!

  2. Thank you, Tony! Your place is amazing. It makes us so happy to visit and see the beautiful display and the music is the icing on the cake. It's awesome. Thank you for all of your effort to do this for the community to appreciate.

  3. Both of these houses are great. I can't wait to see them each year. Thank you both for your amazing work in displaying a great set of Christmas lights.

  4. I find it horrifying that these displays, 1) are put up when so many don't have the resources to do it for themselves (hello privilege); and, 2) are referred to as Christmas lights. They should be HOLIDAY LIGHTS. Let's get with the program and show some inclusivity, people.
