    1. LOL! The recently re-elected Fairfax Commonwealth Attorney does not like to prosecute these property crimes, or most crimes that the police bring to him. Understand that this is frustrating for both police and victims. He is more worried about bias against people than enforcing the laws that keep us all safe and discourage criminals by having consequences. The new Mason Supervisor only can push the Board to decrease funding of the prosecutor’s office for failing to do its job. Don’t hold your breath on that happening any time soon.

    2. Come on. Face reality. It’s going to have to get much much worse before the situation will improve.

Currently, the crimes being committed are limited to the most part to less affluent and politically underrepresented residents.

The geographic areas in which the crimes are committed on a regular basis need to expand more broadly to where more affluent and more politically influential people live.

This is the reality. You may not like it. I sure don’t like it. But don’t even pretend that any Democrat in Fairfax County is going to lift a finger to address the increase in crime before they must to remain in office.

  1. The democrats are way too dumb to govern. They are playing right into the narrative of the extreme right. Dems continue to ignore the growing crime rate locally, nationally and at the borders. Similar circumstances occurred in Germany in 1933 that opened the door for Hitler to execute his barbaric crusade against humanity. History does repeat itself. Beware, we are heading into the dark ages by being blinded to the obvious.

    1. It’s not a “narrative” – many of this saw this coming and warned about it; now it’s happening. Massive self-inflicted wound on our country.
