There was a fatal auto crash this morning on Arlington Boulevard and Patrick Henry Drive in Seven Corners, the Fairfax County Police Department reports.

Christina Hamilton, 37, believed to be the driver of a 2018 Honda Civic, was taken to the hospital and was pronounced deceased.

The Civic was traveling eastbound on Arlington Boulevard in the far-right lane shortly after 1 a.m. When the driver attempted to make an abrupt U-turn, the Civic was struck by a 2016 Honda Accord traveling eastbound in the far-left lane of Arlington Boulevard just east of Patrick Henry Drive.

The driver and a passenger in the Accord were taken to the hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening. Speed and alcohol are not a factor for the driver of the Accord, the FCPD states.

A witness reported seeing a man run from the scene of the crash. At this time, detectives do not believe there is anyone outstanding. Detectives continue to investigate to confirm Hamilton was the driver of the Civic.

  1. Me thinks the person running away caused the accident by stepping in front of the Civic causing the driver to swerve left and losing control of her vehicle.

  2. Christina Elise will be missed. Although I haven’t seen or heard from her in over 30 years, our earlier interactions were enough to sustain a lifetime. I remember her, even as a teen as bring reserved, smart, thoughtful, caring, mature, well mannered, out going, well spoken, just a gentle spirit. Wise beyond her years. I find peace in knowing it was not a long standing painful transition into the next realm. Willing her family receives peace and comfort and eventually understanding regarding her untimely demise.

  3. I’m Christina Hamilton’s mother. I’m reading the comments. Anyone with any further information regarding my daughter’s death please contact me, [email protected]. 716-482-2792. I loved my daughter so much, please help and thank you so much.
