Asian Night Market draws a crowd
A large crowd gathered in Annandale on April 11 for food and entertainment at an Asian Night Market presented by Neon District DMV.
The event, on the parking lot at the ACCA Child Development Center on Columbia Pike, featured 32 food vendors – most of them offering Thai specialties – and 32 non-food vendors.
Moradok Mai, a band from Thailand on a tour of the U.S., entertained the crowd with pop tunes and classic rock.

Students from the Centreville High School dance team also performed, and LittleGiant Muay Thai of Seven Corners presented a Thai kickboxing demonstration.
The next Asian Night Market, on May 23, will be held in conjunction with the Asian Heritage Celebration hosted by the Fairfax County Community Revitalization Section.
Future markets are scheduled for June 27, July 25, Aug. 29, Sept. 26, Oct. 31, and Nov. 21.
