Love & Honey Fried Chicken is replacing another chicken restaurant at Pinecrest Plaza in Lincolnia.

The space, at 6544 Little River Turnpike, is being renovated following the closure of Hot Lola’s, which opened in February 2023.

The chicken at Love & Honey – wings, tenders, and drumsticks – is buttermilk-fried and lightly drizzled with honey.

Sides include tater tots, potato salad, pimento cheese dip, pickles, cornbread muffins, and banana pudding cups.

According to the company’s website, the restaurants use humanely raised and processed chickens that are free of hormones and antibiotics.

Todd and Laura Lyons started Love & Honey Fried Chicken in 2017 in Philadelphia. They later opened franchises in Newtown and Bryn Mawr, Pa., and Cranston, R.I. Another 17 franchises have been awarded on the East Coast, including Washington, D.C. They are actively recruiting more potential franchisees.

  1. Sounds amazing and I hope they are more successful than Hot Lolas. I wish they would use avocado oil or beef tallow to fry their chicken to stand apart from other deep fried places, would love an option nearby that offers deep fried foods in non-seed oils.
