Child survives fall from fifth-story window
A 5-year-old girl
survived a fall from a fifth-story window at the Skyline Center with non-life
threatening injuries, the Fairfax County Police Department reports. The
incident happened at about 8:30 p.m., Sept. 1, in the 5500 block of Seminary Road. A
window was open, and the child was leaning on the screen and fell through. She
was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital. According to a police spokesperson, it
was an accident.
