The Fairfax County Community Revitalization Section invites the community to an Art Appreciation Festival on Saturday, Aug. 17, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Eileen Garnett Civic Space.
This free, family-friendly event celebrates Art Appreciation Month, a time to immerse oneself in the beauty and power of creative expression.
The Eileen Garnett park is located in the heart of Annandale, at 7200 Columbia Pike.
The program includes:
- A curated exhibit of paintings, sculptures, photography, and thought-provoking installations.
- Live demonstrations by local artists, offering a unique glimpse into their creative process.
- Interactive workshops led by experienced instructors. Learn new skills, experiment with different mediums, and discover the joy of artistic expression.
- Family fun with creative games, hands-on projects, and a dedicated space for young people to explore their artistic potential.
