“While I am very sad to be leaving Glasgow, I do so with great confidence knowing that there is an experienced and knowledgeable leadership team in place to support the transition,” DeRose wrote.

Before becoming principal of Glasgow, DeRose had brief stints as assistant principal at Glasgow, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, and Justice (then known as Stuart High School).

  1. I have known Shawn DeRose since he was a Social Studies teacher at Justice High School at the beginning of his career. Annandale could not get a more dedicated, creative, and hardworking leader and manager. So glad he's going to still be part of our neighborhood.
