Five Below store coming to Bailey’s Crossroads

The candy section at a typical Five Below store.

Five Below is moving into the former Pier One space at the Bailey’s Crossroads Shopping Center. Pier One closed in early 2020.

Five Below specializes in items for teens and tweens mostly priced at $5 or less. The stores feature toys, snacks, cosmetics, room décor, sports items, accessories, party supplies, and $5 t-shirts. Among the brands offered: Disney, Lego, Marvel, Pez, Crayola, and Star Wars.

The company has about 1,000 stores in the United States and is undergoing a major expansion with more than 1,600 new stores planned. There are Five Below stores in the Plaza at Landmark in Lincolnia, Fair City Mall in Fairfax, and the Springfield Town Center.

The new store’s address is 5857-A Leesburg Pike, Bailey’s Crossroads. It will be between Moe’s Southwest Grill and Hamilton Sofa & Leather Gallery and close to Trader Joe’s.

We have also heard Five Below is coming to the former Dressbarn spot in the Seven Corners Shopping Center on Leesburg Pike but this hasn’t yet been confirmed. Dressbarn closed spring 2019.

  1. Agree with the commenter above. Another fast market, bad for the environment/human rights, capitalist crap store. Also, parents wrangle your children when crossing the parking lot to the store front. It's already a busy parking lot and it's bad enough as is with adults who don't watch where they are going.
