Four pedestrians struck in Annandale

Four pedestrians were struck by a vehicle in the 7200 block of Maple Place in Annandale just before noon on Friday, May 20, the Fairfax County Police Department reported on Twitter.

The driver left the road, hitting four people. All four and the driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital. One of the pedestrians has injuries considered life-threatening.

Police told NBC4 Washington the crash did not appear to be intentional.
