George Mason Friends installs book donation bin

While the George Mason Regional Library closes for renovations for two years, beginning Oct. 23, George Mason Friends plan to continue raising funds for library activities.

The Friends groups will resume collecting new or gently used books, CDs, and DVDs at a donation bin on the southwest side of United Baptist Church, 7100 Columbia Pike, Annandale, beginning on Monday, Oct. 19.
Gloria Orr of the George Mason Friends invites the community to a ribbon-cutting event for the bin on Oct. 19 at 11 a.m.
