Glam Karaoke opens this weekend

Glam Karaoke could have a soft opening as early as this Friday, reports manager Chris Cho. It’s located in the former Kmart auto shop on 6369 John Marr Drive in what’s now called the East Gate Shopping Center.

It has 12 state-of-the-art karaoke rooms, including two small rooms (serving two to four people), eight medium-size rooms (for eight people). and two large rooms (serving up to 12 people).

Customers will be able to order drinks and food in the rooms. There’s also a full bar and a 132-seat restaurant. An outside patio will be added later.

Hourly prices are $40 for a small karaoke room, $50 for a medium room, and $60 for a large room.

Glam Karaoke will offer Korean and Korean fusion food (such as bulgogi burgers, bulgogi tacos, and Korean quesadillas, for example), although the full menu hasn’t been finalized yet.

Cho had hoped to open in January, but liquor shortages and labor shortages caused delays. Glam Karaoke will be open daily 4 p.m.-2 a.m.
