Man stabbed in Annandale

A man was stabbed at the Fairmont Gardens Apartments on Wadsworth Court in Annandale April 6, the Fairfax County Police Department reports. The man was in the laundry room at about 9:15 p.m. when another man assaulted him, stabbed him, then fled on foot.

The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition was later upgraded to stable.

Police detectives do not believe this incident is a random act and do not believe it is related to the shooting on April 4 at Fairmont Gardens.
