Motorcyclist killed on Braddock Road

A motorcyclist who had been in a crash on Braddock Road at Southampton Drive on Sept. 11 has died.

The victim, an adult male, had been heading eastbound on Braddock Road when he was struck by a vehicle on Friday night. He was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, the Fairfax County Police Department reported. He died on Saturday morning.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene. The crash remains under investigation. The police have not disclosed the names of the motorcyclist or driver.

Another motorcyclist had been killed in a crash on Braddock Road, at Kings Park Drive, in June.
