Man shot in Bailey’s Crossroads

Fairfax County Police have charged four suspects in connection with an assault and a non-fatal shooting that occurred in Bailey’s Crossroads.

On March 19, shortly after 3 p.m., officers responded to the 5500 block of Seminary Road in the Skyline area for a reported shooting. Officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body and another adult who had been assaulted.
Both victims were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the FCPD, the two victims had been approached by multiple suspects, which led to a verbal dispute. The suspects then assaulted both victims, and one suspect produced a firearm and shot one of them. The suspects then fled in a white Mercedes sedan and a black Toyota sedan.
With the assistance of the Real Time Crime Center, the helicopter unit, and the Virginia State Police, the Mercedes was quickly located on Interstate 495. A traffic stop was conducted, and Jaihoon Gard, 19, of Alexandria, and Kawsar Sarwari, 24, of Centreville were taken into custody.
Both suspects were transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
Gard was charged with Simple Assault and was released on a $2,000 bond.

Sarwari was charged with Possession of Schedule I/II Narcotics and was also released on a $2,000 bond.
Through their investigation, detectives identified Farhad Sawari, 21, of Falls Church, as the suspect who shot the victim, and Hasib Hakimi, 20, of Alexandria, as an additional suspect.
On March 20, detectives from the Fugitive Tracking and Apprehension Unit tracked Farhad Sawari and Hakimi to the City of Manassas Park, where they were taken into custody and transferred to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
Farhad Sawari was charged with Malicious Wounding and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. He was held on no bond. Hakimi was charged with Brandishing a Firearm and was held on a $1,500 bond.

These guys remind me of four friends from my youth: Nick Jones, Steve Anderson, Bill Johnson, and Ed McNamara.
Guess they had to hurry up and shoot someone before Spanberger’s new gun laws take effect. Cause ya know, those guys care about the law.
These are Stupidity responses
Since when did the criminal uniform include a floppy mushroom hairdo? This has got to be the dumbest trend I’ve seen in the last ten years at least. Somebody give these minorities a crew cut and a pair of slacks.
It a lie. The shooter was released on personal recognizance with NO bail on both charges. All four of these individuals have multiple prior charges (one has 20) and are out on bail awaiting trial when they committed this crime. Maybe we should wait until they actually kill someone to take custody of them?
