Police share photos of shooting suspect

The Fairfax County Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a shooting on May 10 by the 7-Eleven at 3337 Glen Carlyn Drive in Culmore.

When officers arrived on the scene shortly after 1 p.m., they found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body. Officers provided aid until fire and rescue personnel arrived. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries later determined to be non-life-threatening.

Detectives are sharing surveillance footage showing the suspect, described as Hispanic, wearing a surgical mask, a black sweatshirt, and black pants.
