Scalp spa to open in Seven Corners

Redwood K-Wellness will offer scalp treatments and serenity in Seven Corners.

Something new and different is coming to a long-vacant building in Seven Corners.

The building, at 6320 Castle Place, will be the second location of Redwood K-Wellness, a spa focusing on scalp treatments aimed at producing thick, full, and healthy hair.

The new scalp spa is expected to open in August or September, says Caio Rabello, an employee at the original Redwood K-Wellness establishment that opened in Vienna in May 2025.

Redwood offers scalp treatments to stimulate hair growth, reduce thinning, eradicate dandruff and itchiness, reduce tension that causes headaches, and promote overall wellness.

Treatments include head massages, hair washing, high-frequency combing using red light therapy, microneedling therapy to increase blood circulation and boost collagen production, and lymphatic massage of the head.

Redwood K-Wellness does not offer haircuts, styling, or coloring. It’s a locally owned company, not a franchise.

Scalp spas are popular in Korea and Japan but are less common in the U.S. There are several in Northern Virginia, however, including Serenity Head Spa in Springfield, Spa Restoration Center in Arlington, and Silk Rose Spa in Alexandria.
