Simpson-themed pop-up coming to Springfield

The Moe’s Tavern pop-up. [JMC Pop Ups LLC]

A replica of Moe’s Tavern from “The Simpsons” is coming to (where
else?) Springfield.

The pop-up restaurant will be located on the lower level of
Springfield Town Center next to the Macy’s entrance.

It will be faithful to the bar from the popular cartoon show
– with one major difference. You won’t find Duff or any other beer, as JMC Pop
Ups LLC wasn’t able to get a permit for alcohol sales. You will be able to get “Drunkin’
D’Ohnuts,” though, as well as subs, salads, and other items.

“This is not an actual bar. This is a family-friendly event,”
the website states.

Moe’s will be open Nov. 19-Dec. 11, on Fridays, Saturdays,
and Sundays.

Costumes are encouraged, and tickets are required. Tickets
include a meal, drink, and, depending on the package, souvenirs.

  1. I know, ruins the point of what Moe's Tavern is about. It's not a real experience without real Duff beer and Barneys around.
