St. Alban’s Episcopal Church invites the community to get into the holiday spirit at their annual Christmas Bazaar.

The event is Saturday, Nov. 18, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at 6800 Columbia Pike in Annandale. Admission is free.

Items for sale include Christmas decorations, jewelry, handmade crafts, artworks, candy, toys, baked goods, and housewares. St. Alban’s adult and youth choirs will entertain shoppers.

There will also be a raffle with prizes, including theater tickets, Lego sets, electronics, hand-made quilts, gift baskets, and much more. You do not have to be present to win.

Children will be able to buy presents for their loved ones at a special secret shop.

The café will feature Scotch eggs and sausage rolls, chowder, chili, and other treats.

Proceeds from the bazaar help support St. Alban’s community outreach including programs at Poe Middle School, Belvedere and Braddock elementary schools, Bethany House, Lockwood House, the Bailey’s Crossroads shelter, ACCA, Samaritan Ministry, and Second Story.

Several other local houses of worship are hosting Christmas bazaars this season, including St. Barnabas’ Episcopal Church in Annandale on Nov. 18 and St. Anthony of Padua in Bailey’s Crossroads on Dec. 2. Check the Annandale Today events tab for details.
