A pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver at Little River Turnpike and Wakefield Chapel Road in Annandale this morning, the Fairfax County Police Department reports. An adult male was taken to the hospital in a life-threatening condition. The driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan.
