Giant Food will introduce new shelf labels in January for about 3,100 products sold in its stores that come from minority-owned businesses, the company announced last week.

The product labels will be also be featured on Giantā€™s website and mobile app.

    1. You see what happened to white bread? Dead on arrival, one can hardly find it anymore. The minority is white males if anyone is really paying attention and not listening to fake news.

    2. I'm white and I'm all for sending females and minorities to work in my place. This will give me time to grow my bubba belly and enjoy the fruits of others' labor. Socialists, bring it on…………woohooo!

  1. Yes, make it easier to discriminate against whites, and to make a choice based on race and sexuality rather than quality of product.

  2. This is an excellent idea. For those of you who don't care or will post that somehow this is Communism, fine, don't buy those products. For those of you who are convinced that somehow White people are suffering discrimination, feel free to ignore this marketing tactic. For the rest of us, I definitely like to know who makes my products so I can spend my socialist money wherever I want.

  3. Oh good, we're trying to label one another again…whatever happened to a simple 'Hey, this is a good idea!' or 'Hey, this isn't a good idea!' without resorting to accusing each other of being a Democrat or Republican?

  4. I'm less concerned about "white oppression" or "libtard minority groups" than I am the trend of large businesses using inclusion purely as a PR stunt. How about you treat your employees decently by paying them a living wage with proper benefits before you go on this "we love all races and genders" campaign? That's really what is important to the minorities that work for you. You do care about them, right Giant?

  5. My concern with this is that it is doing the very thing that it is trying to fix. We all want to be treated equally, but we keep trying to make up for it by categorizing people. Categorizing causes divisions. The sooner that we consider everyone an American, rather than a hyphenized American, the sooner we will heal as a society. History worldwide has taught us this, but we keep refusing to learn it.

    1. That is because Americans have been taking the stupid pill. I think that is what POTUS has been using in lieu of a COVID vaccine.

    2. Oh good grief!!! How about Giant labeling products that are "Made In America"?? This is simply more pandering that renders only more division in the country.
