A new restaurant coming to the Bradlick Shopping Center in Annandale called Supreme Barbeque will offer such American favorites as pork ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken, jerked chicken, and beef brisket. Co-owner Rafael Soriano hopes it will open at the end of December.
Hundreds of children make holiday crafts at ON-Annandale event
Kids decorate ceramic bowls with decoupage paper and glitter. More than 300 children and families made gifts for their families and friends Dec. 4 at the Fairmont Gardens apartments hosted by the Opportunity Neighborhoods-Annandale program. Tobacco shop to open in Annandale
Annandale is getting another tobacco shop. Tobacco Max is “coming soon,” says a sign on a storefront on Columbia Pike next to the Juke Box Diner. That space was formerly occupied by Annandale Florist. The flower shop moved a few feet down the road to a standalone building at 7025 Columbia Pike in August 2020.
New Middle Eastern carryout spot opens in Annandale
A Middle Eastern place, called Basil, has moved into the old New York Pizza Factory Plus space at 7254 Columbia Pike in Annandale. Basil had a soft opening last week, and owner Khalil Dib anticipates a grand opening in December.
