Marinated raw crab stars at new Annandale seafood restaurant

A new Korean restaurant in Annandale specializes in raw blue crab marinated in soy sauce.
GJ2_4U is located at 7031 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, between Kabob Corner and Iron Age, in the space formerly occupied by Thai Food.

GJ2_4U stands for ganjang gejang, which means “soy sauce marinated crab” in Korean, says manager Young Kim. He has been offering online food orders for the past three years with meals ready for pickup at Woori Fresh Meat in Annandale (formerly Wow Meat).

At GJ2_4U, only the crab is raw. Everything else is cooked, said Kim.
Other dishes on the menu include abalone, noodle soup with clams, salmon, shrimp, pancakes with seafood, Korean Army soup to share, and bibimbap.
The restaurant is open daily 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m.

Tried to order Thai Food the other day, no wonder they they didn’t answer the phone. Just hearing they closed. Bummer. How dare a non-Korean place operate in that retail space. Food Korner Kabob better watch out
I know Koreans who won’t eat raw crab.
